Air fryer avocado Toast

Simple & Delicious Avocado Toast

Ingredients (1–2 servings)

  • 2 slices of bread (sourdough, whole grain, or your favorite)
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1–2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Optional toppings:
    • Cherry tomatoes
    • Red pepper flakes
    • Fresh herbs (parsley, basil, cilantro)
    • Feta or goat cheese
    • Poached or fried egg

Step 1: Toast the Bread

  1. Put the bread in a toaster or toaster oven.
  2. Toast until golden brown and slightly crispy.

Tip: Brush a little olive oil on the bread before toasting for extra flavor.


Step 2: Prepare the Avocado

  1. Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit.
  2. Scoop the avocado into a bowl.
  3. Add lemon juice.
  4. Mash with a fork. Leave a few chunks for texture.

Step 3: Season the Avocado

  1. Add salt and black pepper.
  2. Add olive oil.
  3. Mix gently. Taste and adjust if needed.

Optional: Add garlic powder, smoked paprika, or balsamic vinegar for extra flavor.


Step 4: Assemble the Toast

  1. Spread the mashed avocado evenly on the toasted bread.
  2. Add toppings you like:
    • Cherry tomatoes
    • Poached or fried egg
    • Feta or goat cheese
    • Red pepper flakes or herbs

Step 5: Serve and Enjoy

  • Eat immediately while the toast is warm.
  • Enjoy with tea, coffee, or a smoothie.
