Ingredients (Serves 2–3)
Base
- 1 cup cottage cheese or thick Greek yogurt
- ½ cup cherries
(fresh or frozen, pitted) - 1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Optional Boosts
- 1 scoop unflavored or vanilla protein powder
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (for extra thickness)
- 1–2 tablespoons milk (to thin if needed)
Equipment
- Blender or food processor
- Spatula
- Small serving bowls or jars
Step 1: Prepare the Cherries
If using frozen cherries, let them thaw slightly.
This helps the pudding blend smoothly.
If cherries are very tart, plan to add a little more sweetener later.
Step 2: Blend the Base
Add to the blender:
- Cottage cheese (or Greek yogurt)
- Cherries
- Honey or maple syrup
- Vanilla
- Salt
Blend for 30–60 seconds until completely smooth.
The texture should look like thick yogurt or pudding.
Step 3: Add Protein (Optional)
If using protein powder:
- Add it now
- Blend again briefly until smooth
If the pudding feels too thick:
- Add milk, 1 tablespoon at a time
- Blend gently
Step 4: Chill
Spoon the pudding into bowls or jars.
Chill in the refrigerator for 30–60 minutes.
This step improves:
- Thickness
- Flavor
- Overall pudding texture
How to Serve
Serve cold, straight from the fridge.

- Fresh cherries
- Dark chocolate shavings
- Crushed almonds or pistachios
- A drizzle of honey
